A June 2010 epidsode of Hot Rod TV on Speed featured 'lead-sleds', post-war late 40's early 50's rods that had more emphasis on style than performance, being chopped and slammed and just cruised. Lead was used for body filler-that's where the term lead-sled comes from. But don't mistake all of these for just being low and slow-some have some pretty good go.
Johnny Depp's 1951 Mercury, a car he's had since his early 20's, had an overhaul done on it by BS Industries. Mike Lavallee did some air-brushing on it.
